Bright Sand Lake Regional Park

Brightsand is located 26 km ne of st.walburg, It has been a regional Park for the last 50+ years. It is called the best kept secret around. The waters are clear and the sand is white. We have a 9-hole golf course and mini golf. Hiking trails, Trout pond for the fisherman, our lake has smart fish in it also. We also have a concession that is open 7 days a week during the busy season. laundry/showers, bike/canoe rentals.

The park has 12 electric with water sites. 25-15 amp electrical sites, 11- 30 amp sites. 20- premium sites, for the more adventurist we have 30 sites that are set back in the bush away from the hustle and bustle of every day life, the park also offers group camping- non powered for the family get togethers.

The park offers two cabins for rent that sleep 7 per cabin. All you would have to bring with you is your bedding, towels pillows. There are 2 bedrooms in each cabin one has a queen size bed the other has a double on bottom and a single on top style bunk bed. In the living room the extra thick futon fold out to make a comfortable double bed. Each cabin also comes with dishes, fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, basic kitchen utensils. On the front deck there is a barbeque for your use and in back there is a fire pit and picnic table.

Camping rules and regulations are handed out when you have a booking with us Pet are welcome but they are not allowed on the beach, the park has designated areas where the pets can go for a swim. Pets are not allowed to be left alone tied up at the campsite, they are required to be put into your camper while you are away.
