From the moment we were met on the outskirts of the beautiful village of Pozos until the moment we were waved goodbye, the only words to describe our time with Esme Tours are incredible, wonderful, fantastic and all other superlatives.
Our four days being hosted by Es and Laura were an absolute delight complimented with surprises and unexpected treats everyday. We were warmly welcomed by them and the villagers into this peaceful, quiet location with stunning scenery. Es and Laura were able to anticipate our every need sometimes before we even knew that it was needed. They were impeccable hosts.
The food cooked by Es was the best we have ever tasted and was endless! His teaching was calm and patient and it was an honour to learn new skills from such an accomplished chef.
We cannot thank Es and Laura enough for making our stay with them so memorable and would recommend Esme Tours to anybody who loves eating, cooking, Spain, walking, relaxing and having an amazing experience.
This was more then a culinary adventure, it was an imersion into Spanish culture. you get to escape into the mountains and truly grasp what it was like to live in the past and present in Spain.
All the villagers where so warm and welcoming and hour host's Chef Esmeraldo and Laura where phenomenal. They always made sure we were comfortable and were flexible to our needs.
There was always a new adventure and surprise awaiting us. I could no be more grateful to have been able to experience the wonderful food and amazing culture in this way. Thanks Chef Esmeraldo and Laura!
