Clifden Campsite and Caravan Park is ideally situated 1.5 km from Clifden town and in the centre of Connemara. We are surrounded by the most scenic area in the country, with beaches, hill walking, mountain climbing, Connemara National Park, Kylemore Abbey, Inishboffin Island, Aran Islands, Omey Island, horseriding, sea and lake fishing and so much more all within easy reach. Staff at reception are always ready to help with advice on routes, walks, bookings for activities and can provide you with ordnance survey maps on loan for the day.

We are also happy to welcome Fado pizza van at the campsite with exceptional pizzas enjoyed by none other than the Happy Pear and Roz purcell.

Free internet is available but please understand that the quality is not great sometimes which is totally out of our control.

The site prides itself on its peaceful surrounding immersed in nature with the joy of the sound of birds singing. We have a strict policy of no noise after 10 pm and we are not suitable for large gatherings or parties. Regretfully no children are let cycle around for the safety of all our campers.
Up to 2 dogs are most welcome but we ask you keep them at your pitch and clean up after them. There is a quiet country lane just off the campsite suitable for walkies. Please note there are sheep in the area.
