Step by step you will travel by archeologic sites of the Arab cities and memories, invoking remote times when Portugal wasn't even ours. Explore at a leisure pace the wild and unspoiled scenery of the southwest coast of Portugal, its nature and biodiversity, smells and colors. Also authentic rural atmosphere and traditional lifestyles, where fishing activities and agriculture are daily life for everyone. This can only mean one thing, you are in the best place to taste the delicious southern gastronomy.

Day 1: Arrival - Welcome at Lisbon/Faro Airport
On the arrival day our guide will welcome you and drive to Zambujeira do Mar, where you will enjoy your accommodation for tonight. Today you might enjoy a perfect sunset by the beach, a delicious fresh fishmeal or a night drink in a pub. The landscapes are endless, the weather is warm and the silence never sounded better. Welcome to Portugal!

Day 2: Zambujeira to Brejão. Coastal Hike Day (8km +250m)
After a delicious breakfast, a brilliant walking day is waiting over shaped cliffs, desert beaches and unforgettable golden colors. Starting from Zambujeira do Mar you will not be disappointed with the track. Feel delighted with the empty coast leading you to desert places with nearly no access. Explore! At the end of the day enjoy a delicious fishmeal of the local fish such as sea bass, sea bream or grey bream, at Brejão place.

Day 3: Brejão to Odeceixe. Coastal Hike Day (17km +300m)
It is a journey through time, local culture and nature trails. The sound of the ocean is magic. The smell is fresh. The rocks are engraved with signs of time and the birds remember how life can be so simple. As you reach Odeceixe cross the river which separates the two southernmost regions of Portugal, Alentejo and Algarve. This place will mark the end of the program, it is time to celebrate with a great dinner in the village. Enjoy!

Day 4: Odeceixe to Rogil. Coasta/Inland Hike Day (14km +100m)
Start your walk side by side with the river Seixe and the wetlands until you get to Odeceixe beach. The trail over the ocean will let you wander and offer superb views of the beach. Close to the end cross inland to-wards João Roupeiro Hamlet. All adventurers need good food and the most famous sweet potato in the world is here, from the main dishes to the regional pastry the options are endlessly delicious.

Day 5: Rogil to Aljezur. Coastal Hike Day (14km +300m)
Today you cross several agricultural fields, some of sweet potato, of course! And then follow a dirt road getting close to the Ocean. Awaiting you will be the beautiful beach and the valley of Amoreira. Nevertheless there is still a last surprise for the day, Aljezur and its Moorish castle! This city was founded by the Arabs on the 10th century and has an impressive archeologic site. Explore like a conqueror and go all the way up to the castle i - the view is mesmerizing.

Day 6: Aljezur to Arrifana. Coastal/Inland Hike Day (16km +300m)
Last day starts with a short transfer to the beach of Monte Clérigo from where your walk goes by the coast, passing by the mythical Ponta da Atalaia, a fantastic promontory where we can see many ruins of an ancient Moorish fortress. The trail after this point carries on along the top of the cliffs with mediterranean bushland, aromatic plants and coastal dunes. Touch the nature step by step and then have a great rest in beautiful village of Arrifana.

Day 7: Departure - Farewell at Lisbon/Faro Airport
Prepare your luggage, photographs and best memories. Don't forget anything behind, because one of our Guides will pick you up in your accommodation.
