Minga House is a non-profit Colombian foundation dedicated to the service learning engagement between foreign volunteers and our Colombian Coffee Region Communities through collectively solving real-life community challenges. Some roles are structured internships/externships and other roles are flexible volunteering spots. There is no better way to learn a new culture and to practice your Spanish than to immerse yourself into a well-defined role integrated into the community. Upon hearing your interest and understanding your professional background we are able to place you into the right volunteering and/or internship opportunities either within Minga House or with one of our local partner organizations. You may serve in a single site and/or combine 2 or more sites for an agreed-upon amount of time. Our professional bilingual staff will ensure you are SAFE, LEARNING, and having FUN!
Volunteers engage & immerse into the community at their volunteer or internship sites 4-5 days per week. All majors and professional fields are welcome. Minga House counts with over 50 roles within education, health, nonprofit, science, business, agriculture, and tourism. Each volunteer makes their own schedule with their site supervisor. Typically, the weekends include optional recreational cultural
