Sven is an Alaska resident since 2001 and has been living an adventurous 12 years in this beautiful State. For the summer of 2012 Sven is preparing for an other adventure. owning and running a Basecamp Hostel in beautiful Fairbanks.He was born and grew up in Switzerland but soon discovered the big, wide world out there.Sven is a wilderness guide, sled dog tour operator and ran the Iditarod trail sled dog race 4 times. He loves meeting people from all over the world and opening up a Bascamp Hostel in Fairbanks seemed to be a perfect fit for him.He offers activities at his Hostel all summer long. from biking to volleyball, yoga in a tipi to movie nights and presentation you won't get bored at his place. He offers comfortable wall tents, private cabins, a campground and a tipi to rest for the night. come and check us out this summer.
