Live music, camping and partying in Southern California? What more can you want? Coachella is April 15-17th in Coachella, CA, right outside Palm Springs. If you have not heard of Coachella, this is a festival that draws over 150,000 people each year and turns unknown bands into the next Miike Snow or Vampire Weekend. With a line up including Black Keys, Kanye, Delorean, Foster the People and Lauryn Hill, there’s no wonder tickets sold out weeks ago!

For those who don’t have tickets, Twitter (#Coachella) is one the best places to get up to date information on people selling their tickets!

For those who have tickets, but nowhere to stay, there are still places with availability! To fully emerge yourself in the Coachella culture, California camping and RV rentals are two of the hottest options. Even though you’ll be staying off-site, you’re still allowed to kick off the festival Thursday night on-site as long as you aren’t parking a car. So whether you taxi, shuttle, bike, walk, float or swim, just have your festival pass to get into the on-site party. Check out Coachella shuttles and other California accommodation options.

One last piece of advice-there will be NO cell phone service. Make sure to pick a detailed meet-up space with your friends before you get too carried away! But most of all, enjoy the festival! Once the details are figured out, go with it. You’ll be there with so many people who all share a love for music, embrace it.
