Surrounding Area
We are located in one of the last real Hawaiian places, Hana Maui Hawaii. We have 27 1/2 acres and approximately 10 acres are devoted to a public botanical garden. It is left in a more natural state but we did plant many tropical flowers and fruits and do mow walking areas.
Nearby is Kaeleku Cave tours and Kahanu Gardens with a historical heiau. There is Waiananapanapa State Park with it's black sand beach and Hana Bay Park with quite safe swimming. Hana Village has a gas station, two grocery stores, post office and a few gift stores. There is a large resort hotel. One restaurant near the post office. Many local people have food available till about 4pm. Tutu's at Hana Bay and a few side of the road places. There is an organic farmers market with bentos by the Hana Health Clinic. And an authentic Thai food place behind the hotel and ball park. Very good eats everywhere.

Accommodations
We are off the grid and have solar electricity so conservation is required. It comes off batteries like a car does. No phone, no TV, no radio or computer service. You have to talk to one another.
Two studios are available near the Farm House.
Marine Studio has a queen bed and 2 twin beds. Charges are per bed. It has a full gas appliance kitchen and private bath and patio area.
The Flower Studio has a queen bed and kitchenette. It has no gas refrig. buit a large cooler for you to put ice. The key is broken so it is discounted. I don't lock my doors, but it makes some people uncomfortable.
