Kershaw House is a grand example of colonial residential architecture in New Zealand of the 1920s. Built during the celebrated Art Deco period in 1929, Kershaw House is listed with the New Zealand Historic Places Trust as a Category Two building of historical significance.

The finest bed linens grace the French cherry sleigh beds in tastefully decorated spacious ensuite rooms. All four guest rooms are located on the upper level of the house reached by a sweeping oak staircase. Each room has been uniquely furnished and themed with local names such as the Abel Tasman Suite and the Richmond Room. All rooms have their own private ensuites and the highest levels of comfort and quality furnishings.

Kershaw House is situated easy walking distance to many restaurants, cafes and local vineyards - all offering excellent dining experiences. Your hosts will provide restaurant recommendations to ensure you sample the best of local cuisine during your stay.

Kershaw House Boutique Accommodation is located at 10 Wensley Road, Richmond, Nelson. This is just a 10 minute drive from the Nelson Airport or a 15 Minute drive from Nelson City. It is on route to the South Island West Coast and the Abel Tasman National Park.

Getting here is easy...Just head south from Nelson city or the airport, down State Highway 6. About 10km from the airport, look for a road on your left named Oxford Street. Turn Left into Oxford. At the Round About at the end of Oxford Street, turn Right into Wensley Road. Kershaw House is on the Right, just 50 metres from this round about. Jill and Pete look forward to meeting you.
