A taxi ride from the airport is 20 minutes to half an hour, depending on traffic. The cost will be around € 35. From Amsterdam Airport Schiphol to Amsterdam by train and metro: by public transport your transfer should take not much more time than a taxi ride. The train ride from the airport to Central Station (€ 3,70 for a single journey) takes about 20 minutes, and from there you transfer to the Metro to Nieuwmarkt station. Any Metro departing from the Metro terminal at Central station will stop at Nieuwmarkt A taxi ride from Central Station is a good alternative if you have a lot of luggage, it will cost you around € 10.
From Nieuwmarkt Metro station to the apartment (literally 3 minutes). Make sure you get out at the right exit from the station: it is marked 'Oude Hoogstraat/ Snoekjessteeg.' When you get to the street level, you find a narrow alley immediately on your left, it is almost like a corridor and it is called 'Zuiderkerkhof'. It gets you to the square next to the South Church. Walk into the Zandstraat just past the Church on your right-hand side. To the Kloveniersburgwal continue on the Zandstraat for 100 meters. Number 55 is at the corner on your right.

“I have traveled all over the globe and know what it is like to stay at an average, impersonal hotel. Always when I had a chance to stay in a small, privately owned place, I would. And that’s how, in short, how I came up with the idea of offering accommodation myself."
Next to that I run an internet company focused on sites and online services for accommodation owners like myself. One of those services is a professional 'do-it-yourself' website builder specifically for B&B and apartment owners called Stinngo.
And these are things I like: travel, sailing, skiing, photography or just a night out to the movies."
