Welcome to the Residencial Das Araras Youth Hostel and Inn. Our multi-lingual staff (Fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish and Korean) will help you feel right at home!
We offer 20 beds in 5 comfortable rooms. There are 4 beds per room, bunk style with clean bed linens provided. Each room provides personal space for luggage, a private bathroom with shower, ceiling fan and window screens for mosquito free sleep.
We also have 5 tent sites available for you to pitch your own tent. The tent site area is level and covered with grass and there is a public bathroom with a shower area for your convenience.
A swimming pool with bar service and BBQ, community kitchen/cafe, whole hostel WIFI internet access and beautiful landscaped yard with porch hammocks for relaxing, complete the amenities. A light breakfast buffet is provided for free daily.
Additional snacks and beverages can be purchased from the service bar and cafe. We also have a secure parking area for your convenience.
Our ideal location is conveniently close to public transportation, Mini-markets, restaurants, nightclubs, shows and shopping.
Residencial Das Araras is located in Taperapuan Beach, also known to locals as Orla Norte, this is the premier beach area of Porto Seguro.
You can find Residencial das Araras just north of the city's center in a peaceful residential area between two well known, middle class neighborhoods (bairros), named Village 1 and Balneario de Taperapuan. Pristine beaches, beautiful ocean vistas and the best beach clubs await you, only a 10 minute walk from your room

Residencial das Araras is located in Taperapuan Beach, Porto Seguro, Bahia, Brazil.
Porto Seguro is an easy destination to reach, it has an airport served by all domestic airlines and a bus terminal (Rodoviaria) that has daily bus service to and from Brazil's major cities.
From the airport or bus terminal it's easiest to take a taxi to Residencial das Araras (Taxi fare is approximately BRL 30) Be sure to always negotiate the fare first, before entering any cab. If the driver isn't sure where the Residencial das Araras is, get a different driver or have them call us at: 3679-1054 for directions.
Travelers advisory, BEWARE: some taxi drivers are not honest and will try to charge a higher fare or take you to stay at other lodgings, so they can receive a commission. Insist that you already have a reservation. If the driver seems a bit dodgy or unsure take a different taxi or the city bus.
You can take a bus to the town centre, where you may easily rent a car or catch a connecting public bus. (The buses with the name 'VILLAGE' or 'BARRAMARES' via Village passes directly in front of Residencial das Araras, ask the bus driver or fare collector to stop at RIACHO DOCE, MERCADO LUANDA or Residencial das Araras)
Residencial das Araras is located just north of the city center, in the area of Taperapuan Beach, also known to locals as Orla Norte, between two well known middle class neighborhoods (bairros), named Village 1 and Balneario de Taperapuan.
From the city center go north along the coastal route known as Avenida Beira Mar. Shortly past the big beach club called Axe Moi you will come to the Sabor Goiania restaurant, tell your driver to turn left on Avenida Village (R.G. in Google maps), go straight until it ends at the intersection of Rua Telegrafo, turn right on Rua Telegrafo go straight until you get to a small left turning intersection, just before Mercado Luanda. Here you will see our sign, turn left on Rua do Campinho and you're there!
If you pass in front of Mercado Luanda, you've gone a little too far!
There is a secondary route to Residencial Das Araras through another residencial area known as Paraiso dos Pataxos directly across the street from the Restaurant Barraca do Gaucho. Turn left on (Rua Rio dos Mangues in Google maps) off the Avenida Beira Mar, go behind the Sueds Hotel and past the Pitstop market, this road bears left and intersects with Rua Telegrafo, turn right on Telegrafo left on Rua do Campinho
