Welcome to Guesthouse Egilsborg! We are located in a quiet street (i verholt 20) in the centre of Reykjavi k.
The guesthouse is only a 2 minute walk from the main shopping street Laugavegur as well as a swimming pool 1011 supermarket and the bus terminal.
The guesthouse has 17 rooms which are single, double and family. There is a bathroom and a shower on each floor.
Guests have access to a sitting area with TV.
Guests have access to kitchen facilities from 0800 till 2200.
Guests are able to catch Grey line airport buses to and from this location at a low cost of 2200isk per person per ride. We also arrange exclusive Tours with Iceland Excursions from the convience of our door step.
Guests have access to laundry services at a cost of 1500isk per washing and 1500isk per drying if needed after your trekking and hiking tours! :)
Payment during office hours is done on arrival but Please note that if you arrive after 1700 you will be charged for the first night on your credit card, the current commercial conversion we use from Euro to Icelandic Kroner is 0.165, (this is subject to change).
Complimentry Continental Breakfast is not included in winter, from the 1st of Oct 2012 till May 2013.
From the international airport in Keflavi k it is best to take the grey line bus that drops you straight to our door! but if you want to save on money and take the (Flybus) to the BSI station then you need to either take a taxi or walk 20mins to us along the shopping street.
It is also possible to take a taxi from the airport but it is more expensive.
