Red Palm is not a party hostel, it is a place where you can feel at home, relax and kick back in the middle of the bustling city.
We are a hostel for backpackers in Bukit Bintang, or the 'Golden Triangle' which is the major shopping and dining district. The food nearby ... don't get us started on this one ... mmmmh. You can even directly order food and drinks from the Indian restaurant next door through the fence without even having the leave our premises ;)
We are located in a historical colonial house and our guests always mention the homely atmosphere in the house.
We also offer broadband internet, printing, CD-burning, phone facilities, travel desk and tour excursions, laundry service, book swap corner and a shelf with tons of travel info for Malaysia and SE Asia. An ideal place to chill-out and socialize with other travellers and us, watch Satellite TV and DVDs or simply update your travel status to your family and friends. Breakfast is inclusive as well as tea and coffee all day long.

We are located at Tengkat Tong Shin (a one-way street), look out for house No.5 (a white 2-storey house with 2 red doors at the balcony) between the Indian restaurant 'Tg Nasi Kandar' with a foot reflexology 'KL Valley' and "Anggun Boutique Hotel."
Direction from KLIA / LCCT Airport
1) Taxi (must use coupon): *** 50% midnight surcharge applied between midnight and 0600 am ***
- Give the taxi driver the address (No. 5, Tengkat Tong Shin, a one way street).
- We're close to Corona Inn, between the Indian restaurant 'Tg Nasi Kandar' with a foot reflexology 'KL Valley" and "Anggun Boutique Hotel."
- Taxi fare is approx. RM75 - RM80.
2) Bus from KLIA / LCCT Airport:
The fare is between RM8 - RM10 to KL Sentral station and a travel time is between 1h - 1.5h.
* SkyBus - RM9, every half an hour to KL Sentral station.
From there ---> refer 'Direction from KL Sentral.'
* AeroBus - RM8, every one hour to KL Sentral train station.
From there ---> refer 'Direction from KL Sentral."
* Star Shuttle - RM8-RM10 to Pudu Sentral.

3) KLIA Express Train, ERL (Operating hours: 5am - 1am)
- The fast train takes 28 minutes to KL Sentral Station.
- Fare is RM35.00 one way. Frequency: 15min (peak hour) & 20min (off-peak hour).

2) Monorail (Operating hours: 6am - midnight)
- Only recommended if you travel light; we're 5-10 minute walking distance from the station, try to avoid the rush hour.
- Buy the ticket to 'Bukit Bintang' station (RM 2.10). From there, walk to the hostel (use the above map).

- Aboard Bandar Tasik Selatan LRT (Ampang Line) and get off at Plaza Rakyat LRT Station (@ Pudu Sentral) - RM1.70.

2) Taxi from TBS to Red Palm
- Give the taxi driver the address (No. 5, Tengkat Tong Shin, a one way street).
- We're close to Corona Inn, between the Indian restaurant 'Tg Nasi Kandar' with a foot reflexology 'KL Valley" and
"Anggun Boutique Hotel."
- Taxi fare is approx. RM30 - RM40.
Direction from Pudu Sentral (formerly known as Puduraya Bus Terminal)
1) Taxi
- Give the taxi driver the address (No. 5, Tengkat Tong Shin, a one way street).
- We're close to Corona Inn, between the Indian restaurant 'Tg Nasi Kandar' with a foot reflexology 'KL Valley" and
"Anggun Boutique Hotel."
- Taxi fare is approx. RM5 - RM10 (insist on meter). It's a norm for a taxi driver to ask for RM30.
2) Walk (use the above map)
- The better option is to walk from the bus station which would take about 10 minutes.
- From Pudu Sentral take the pedestrian bridge to get on the other side of the street (Citin Hotel).
- And walk to the right along Jalan Pudu (Pudu Street).
- You will pass by Tong Shin Hospital (on the left).
- Further down on the right side of the street you will see Swiss Garden Hotel.
- Take the left lane opposite the Swiss Garden Hotel and walk towards a Chinese vegetarian restaurant (Blue Boy Vegetarian)
- Follow the path till you reach Corona Inn on your right, facing Tengkat Tong Shin.
