The Eagles is a traditional inn offering real ales and a very friendly atmosphere; a perfect setting for relaxing after a hard day in the hills.
Our comfortable accommodation is on the top floors within The Eagles. We have six rooms each sleeping 4 and two rooms sleeping 2. All rooms are private (no sharing with strangers) centrally heated and have tea/coffee making facilities. Duvets, pillows and sheets are supplied. There are two separate showers, a bathroom and two wash-rooms/toilets. A self catering kitchen is available for your use as is a drying room and secure storage for bikes etc.
Our welcoming bar serves a range of real and keg beers.
Surrounded by mountain scenery the hostel lies on the edge of the peaceful village of Penmachno, in a secluded valley 4 miles south of Betws-y-coed at the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. Snowdon itself is about 15 miles away.
This is ideal accommodation for groups or individuals walking, climbing, cycling or canoeing .

From A5, two miles east of Betws-y-coed, at Conwy Falls Cafe turn onto B4406 to Penmachno - through village - across bridge - The Eagles is one hundred yards in front of you on left hand bend in road towards Cwm Penmachno.
