***Sudima Christchurch Airport will begin a $20M redevelopment upgrade taking effect from the 1st of September 2013 with an anticipated end date of July 2015 . The upgrade will include the demolition of 50 rooms to make way for a new 4 . 5 star Executive Wing with 90 accommodation rooms . Other upgrades include a new reception area and a soft refurbishment of the conference facilities and some existing room types . Work will be carried out between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday .
