The House of Colipo, only 3 km from Batalha and 15 km from Fatima, is a concept of personalised rural turism of small scale but high quality. More than a turism business, the objective of this project is to share a healthy way of life on the country side tempered with a modern accent.
In the House of the Rising Sun you can enjoy the pleasures of the country side on a 12.000 square meters space with hundreds of different species of trees (mostly mediterranean fruit trees) which you can pick directly.
The House of Colipo was specially designed to receive the youngest. Your kids can play in total calm and safety since there is no traffic in the area.
From Lisbon:
Follow the A1 motorway and leave at exit Fátima (110 km) follow the road to Batalha (13 km).
From Porto:
Follow the A1 motorway, exit at Leiria (175 km) and follow IC2 to Batalha (11 km).
From Batalha follow to Rebolaria - about 1 km NE Batalha. Keep the road where you find Casal do Alho.
Enter the first road (Rua Padre Francisco Jordao) you find lefthand side (about 1 km from Rebolaria) and follow this narrow road by 100 m. Turn the first righthanded side street (signed Casa do Colipo) and follow it by 300 m (its a non-paved path).
