Albergue Tacana is a tradicional indian malloca style house situated in the forest 13km from Leticia.You are welcome as an independent traveller we have two ensuite rooms as well as economy accommodation and a bunkhouse style hammock room available. We have local indigenous guides who can take you ot into the forest only five minutes from your room. The Tacana river where you can fish,bathe or go canoeing is less than 10 minutes walk from the Albergue and there are two working Mallocas in the forest within an hours walk.

Typical cost of transport from Leticia COP20,000(US$12) taxi, COP 8-10000 mototaxi or COP2,000(US$1.20) per person in combi to Km 11 . We are easily located 3 km from km11 on the road from KM11 Sign posted for the school Alfonso Zambrano. When you arrive at the comunity ask for the Casa de Elena.
