Essence Arenal is located in El Castillo, 20 minutes from La Fortuna, on the lava flowing side of the Arenal Volcano. Surrounded by two National Parks, Arenal and Monteverde, our 100 acres property is rich in flora & fauna, which can be appreciated in amazing jungle sites and trails. Essence Demo Cuisine is a meat free restaurant that gets everyone involved with the food. We show our international guest about local products and present them in a non-traditional way.
Hotel conditions:
We hold reservations until 4pm - we don't guarantee reservations after that time.
From San Jose/La Fortuna:
3 Km after Tabacon Thermal Water, there's a police station on the right, take the left leaving the main road and pass the Arenal National Park, then turn left. After the bridge turn right and within 3 Km arrive to El Castillo village, take the left up to the Butterfly Farm, alter 1 Km see Essence Arenal on the right side of the road.
