“YOU’LL LOVE OUR GOOD NATURE”
Located in Cumberland County on Route 2, which follows the scenic Glooscap Trail. We are on the beautiful and historic Moose River, nestled in the Cobequid Mountain Range, near the Bay of Fundy; which boast, the highest Tides in the world. Within walking distance of one of the best fossil finds in North America. A walk down the tidal river is an adventure: dig a bucket of clams, look for fossils or explore the remains of the Moose River Lumber Companies’ dam and saw mill. We are within minutes of attractions such as Fundy Geological Museum, Joggins Fossil Finds, and Five Island Provincial Park. Visit the local shops, golf course, and restaurants; attend live theater. Enjoy on-site activities, such as hiking, bird watching, swimming, fishing, beach combing, clambakes and our recreational area that includes volleyball, basketball, and much more.

If hiking is your preference, you will want to explore Chignecto Park. The park boasts 42 km of prime hiking trails, the trails run along the coast of the Bay of Fundy as well as in land, with designated camp sites scattered through out. Another place to explore is the Kenomee hiking and walking trails. Vast intertidal areas, sculpted cliffs, volcanic rock and granite escarpment of the Cobequid Hills with its many waterfalls, all characterize an area we call Kenomee (the Mi’kmaq name for Economy). Located along the shore of the Minas Basin between Truro and Parrsboro, the area features a well-developed system of excellent coastal and wilderness hiking trails. They include Economy Falls Trail, Thomas’ Cove and Five Island Prov. Park trails. Sea Kayaking and canoeing are also popular in the area.

Discover Nova Scotia’s Ancient world at the Fundy Geological Museum. See some of the oldest dinosaur bones on earth. Meet some of the ancient creatures that lived here years ago. Discover mineral treasures exposed when the great Fundy Tides wash away the sea cliffs. See a collection of beautiful amethyst and agate gemstones. While exploring our region, you will discover the special beauty of the Bay of Fundy, with its beaches and towering sea cliffs with Jurassic and Triassic landscapes of 200 million years ago.
