The inn boasts two small crescent-shaped lakes where guests can enjoy fishing, paddleboating, or relaxing in the hammock under the age-old pine trees. Enjoy wandering with your loved one on the Inn's nature trail where you might see wild turkey, deer, turtles, or a blue heron fishing on the banks.
Each of the Inn's ten luxurious rooms and suites is uniquely decorated and feature all modern amenities and private bathrooms.
Enjoy the great outdoors at the Inn while soaking in the seven-person hot tub or swimming pool, on the paddleboats, bass fishing boat, or walking paths. There are 22 acres to wander hand-in-hand with your loved one or there are places to gather with friends.
There is a personal computer in the living room of the Inn for you to connect to the Internet or bring your laptop and connect to our Wireless Internet network. We offer all the conveniences you might find in an Excelsior Springs hotel, along with the warmth and charm of a greater Kansas City bed and breakfast.
There are eight rooms in the main house of the Inn.
The third floor contains two large suites (Ballroom and Crescent) that are both spacious and quiet. Each suite has a sitting area and views of the peaceful country setting. The five rooms on the second floor (McCleary, Paris, Stripe, Emerald Rose, and Casbah) vary in both the size of the bed and the type of decor. Choose from period claw-footed tubs, whirlpool tubs, king or queen-sized beds and different views of the grounds. The first floor Garden room is handicapped-accessible and has a private entrance and hot tub.
There are two separate buildings besides the Main House - the Cottage and the Pool House. The Cottage is a private two-story house located by the lake. The large airy Tuscany Suite is tucked away in the Pool House with awesome views of the lake and pool.
Each room at the Inn on Crescent Lake is private, spacious and decorated with your comfort in mind. All rooms come with a complete hot breakfast for two each morning and full use of all the Inn's amenities including the outdoor 7-person hot tub, walking paths, paddle boats, fishing, and swimming in the pool.
Directions from Kansas City International Airport
Exit the airport following signs to I-435 St. Louis. Follow I-435 to Hwy. 291. Follow Hwy. 291 toward Liberty to I-35 N. Follow I-35 N to exit 20. See directions above.
Directions from St. Louis, Columbia and points east on 70W:
Exit I-70W at exit #49 onto Highway 13N toward Higginsville (4 mi.) and on to Lexington (18mi.). Staying on Highway 13 through Lexington, cross the Missouri River and continue on toward Richmond, MO. South of Richmond, turn West onto Highway 10W which will take you to Highway 210W (ignore signs directing you toward Excelsior Springs via Highway 10W). Take Highway 210W 15 miles to N Highway. Turn right (North) onto N Highway and go 5.7 miles to the Excelsior Springs city limits sign (on the left you'll see a white tank water tower). Turn left at the first opportunity after the city limits sign onto Seybold Road. Take Seybold Road (which will turn into Crescent) .7 miles and, just before reaching the stop sign, turn left into the Inn's driveway.
