The three day tour outline below is to be seen as an example only and can be adapted to a 1or 2 day desert experience.

tour packages can be custom designed in consultation with you and your group and will relate to your specific needs,numbers in group,type of group -fitness levels etc ,level of accommodation required etc etc

Day 1:
We will drive to kibbutz Tsuba,through Sataf and Lachish,see the caves of Amatzia/Hazan.On the way we will take in the views of the Judean Hills, learn about ancient agricultural practices, and religious sites in the area. We will meet the biblical Samson and the Philistines, David and Goliath, and see caves used for hiding.
Travelling south we will tour the Bedouin communities in the Arad region, perhaps having a local lunch and a camel ride.
We will then drive through the bread basket of Israel,trying to understand the complexity of the Bedouin problem, and take in a view of life that is both traditional and modern.
Towards evening we will arrive at the desert city of Arad and view the flaming Edom mountains as the sun sets.

Day 2:

Travel from Arad to the areas of the Large Crater with its coloured sands and interesting geological formations and visit the desert township of Yerucham and see what life is like for the people who live there.Make a visit to Sde Boker -its beauty and history as the Kibbutz where David Ben Gurion lived and travel toMitzpe Ramon on the edge of the crater like form of Machtesh Ramon.

Day 3:

Tour In Machtesh Ramon with its amazing features ,geological history.

Afternoon travel back to Jerusalem or Tel Aviv , as your guide explains the interesting desert landscapes and introduces you to the people of the area.
