Bentonsport is one of the Villages of Van Buren county. Steeped in history concerning the Mormon Trail, Underground Railroad, and Civil War history, the area is truly a step back in time. Bentonsport features unique shops, a historic bridge, and a tranquil Rose Garden. A perfect place to get away from it all.
Accommodations
The Mason House inn features guest rooms filled with antiques from the original hotel. Rooms are quiet and cozy. There is a formal parlor for reading or conversation and a dining room for games and TV. The annex building has a front porch with a swing. The Caboose Cottage is the only room with a TV and kitchen.
Rooms/Suites
All rooms have private bathrooms with shower and wireless internet access. Beds are King, Queen, or Extra-long double. Some rooms also have a twin or two for the kids.

All rooms have wireless internet access. The Caboose Cottage has a TV and kitchen. Restaurants can be found in Keosauqua, Bonaparte, and Farmington, just a short scenic drive from Bentonsport. Keosauqua has a Country Club with golf, tennis, and a swimming pool open to the public. Lacey-Keosauqua Lake and Lake Sugema, and Indian Lake Park have swimming, fishing, and canoeing.
Services Offered
A full country breakfast is included with room rate. It is served in the Main House dining room from 7am to 9am. Special diets accomodated. Please let Joy know of your special dietary needs when making your reservation.

Open year round. Rates the same all year. $84 - $105 for one or two people. More than two people to a room is $10 per person, per night extra. 5% tax---No Motel Tax here!

Bentonsport is located on Hwy J40 in Van Buren County, Iowa, in the southeast corner of the state, between Keosauqua and Bonaparte. Easily accessed from Hwy 218, Hwy 1, and Hwy 2.
