Wintertime, too, brings plenty to do in Bridgton. Home to Shawnee Peak, with 47 trails and the largest night-skiing in New England, the area offers much outdoor fun. The newly-refurbished and well-groomed snowmobile trails take sledders through woods, fields, glades, and mountainsides for unsurpassed views. This is not the place for fast, reckless racing, but rather a family trail system with "snowmobiling for the civilized". The multi-use trails also host cross-country skiers and sled-dog teams, and the annual Winter Carnival and Mushers Bowl sled dog races bring thousands of people out to enjoy the crisp days of winter.
From April through October, perhaps you want to take out one of the resort's free row boats, canoes, or pedal boat for awhile. The lake is teaming with large- and small-mouth bass, brown trout, lake trout (touge), white and yellow perch, hornpout, and pickerel. Temporary fishing licenses are available intown, or online through our web site. And nothing beats the view of the lakeside foliage from a canoe on a crisp, autumn morning! Less water-oriented? Try out our tennis court (balls and racquets available) or the lawn games. Play some badminton, volleyball, football, or soccer.
If the weather's not cooperating, or winter is here, you can use the ping pong table, billiard table, and foosball in the game room, or pamper yourself in our Spa and Fitness Center. There's plenty for people of ALL ages to do at the Resort all year!
In addition to all the features found in a Regular Room, the Executive Room has a 3/4 bath (shower only) plus a microwave, refrigerator, and recliner. A very special feature of the Executive Room is its bedding. All Executive Rooms have Serta's top-of-the-line "Presidential Suite" pillow-top mattresses, with either two extra-long doubles or a king.
Efficiency Rooms have both a queen and an extra-long double bed (same length as a queen), a full bath (tub & shower), plus a fully-equipped kitchenette with stove, oven, refrigerator, and sink. Pots, pans, plates, utensils, dishwashing soap, and dish towels included.
Finally, The two-room Deluxe Suite consists of a separate bedroom with queen pillow-top bed, remote-control TV, A/C, plus tiled bath with 2-person jacuzzi tub. It adjoins a spacious living room/kitchen area with a picture window overlooking lake. A working fireplace, queen fold-out sofabed with inner-spring mattress, a recliner, dining table, and fully-equipped kitchen complete the Suite. Perfect for a luxurious getaway, honeymoon, anniversary or other special occasion. Or just to pamper yourself!

POLICY ON DEPOSITS
A 50% deposit required in advance on all reservations (one night minimum), balance payable on arrival. Deposits for rentals of LESS THAN 7-DAY STAYS are refundable (less a $10 cancellation fee) if we receive more than 7 days notice from start of reservation.
NOTE: Deposit is non-refundable for RENTALS OF 1 WEEK OR MORE, so-called "block bookings" of 4 or more rooms for one party or event, or with 7 or fewer days notice for all other reservations. Sorry, but shortened stays or early departure during “Peak” and “Shoulder” seasons are considered "cancellations" of the eliminated day(s), and therefore fall under the same restrictions as a cancellation.
Sorry, but we cannot allow pets in the resort (you never know if the next person in the room might have severe allergies). There are excellent and caring kennel facilities nearby, and we’d be glad to help with arrangements. ".
We are NON-SMOKING in all rooms. Smokers can always sit on the covered deck outside their rooms if they need to. Please, though, be considerate with pipes or cigars, and smoke them away from the porches and decks.
Except for a few cases, there are NO EXTRA CHARGES to our guests for the use of Resort facilities and equipment.
