Bar Harbor is a leisurely 15 minutes away by car - take in the great scenery on your way to the other side of Mount Desert Island!

The Cranberry Cove Ferry is just across the street from us - located at the upper town dock of Southwest Harbor. Also the Island Explorer shuttle bus stops right in front of the inn. It's a fabulous FREE ride around the island - you can't beat that!

The closest lobster pier is just a 5 minute walk down the street!

Our common dining room, with a touch of french country flair, is where we serve a unique, homemade 4 course breakfast each morning.

Tastefully intermingled is our "Delightful" gift shop. Our gift shop offers a unique assortment of home & garden decor, whimsical kitchen linens, homemade dip & dessert mixes, handmolded tea sugars & more.

Also, you will find our 24 hour Espresso beverage buffet, guest fridge stocked with complimentary cold drinks and a cold water dispenser offering fresh Mount Desert Island spring water.

Guests are welcome to relax & kick back on our , whimsically decorated, flower filled cedar front porch. Or maybe you would prefer the hammock in the backyard!

Check in time is between the hours of 4pm - 6pm. Because we spend out time specially preparing for your arrival, we are unable to offer early arrivals.

Please let us know if you will be arriving later than 6pm, so we may make special arrangements with you.

Check out time is anytime leading up to 11 am

Our inn is best suited for adults, however children age 13+ are welcome.

Each guestroom is able to occupy 2 persons.

NO SMOKING inside the inn or on surrounding grounds.

Reservations of 1 night are non refundable. 2 night minimum stay in July, August & September

Cancellations received more than 14 days out from date of arrival will have the deposit refunded if the reservation is able to be rebooked in it entirety.

Cancellations received less than 14 days: Deposit is nonrefundable & guest is financially responsible for the entire remaining balance due.

All cancellations are subject to a processing fee of $45.oo per room reserved per night.

No refunds will be issued for late arrivals or early departures.

For reservation securing 3 or more guestrooms, cancellation must be received a minimum of 21 days in advance.
