Che Lagarto is the largest chain of private hostels in South America. We have hostels at all the best destinations and we pride ourselves on giving our guests the best experience possible. With more than 15 years under our belt, we currently have more than 20 hostels in 5 countries: Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Uruguay and Chile.
We are located at Rua da Paz, n�7, Rio de Janeiro. The affordable hotel Che Lagarto Buzios is located next to the beach of Arma��o de Buzios, 200 meters from the Rua da Pedras and 300 meters from Praia do Canto. It offers friendly service and has private and shared rooms. It is within walking distance of shops, restaurants and nightlife in Buzios. The hostel is 50 meters from the bus station, which offers connections to Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo.

From the airport of Rio de Janeiro: You can hire a TRANSFER through the reception of the hostel (buzios@chelagarto.com ).
From the Terminal of Rio de Janeiro: to take Bus n� 1001 and get off at the bus station in Buzios. In front of the terminal you will see a poster that shows where we are located to help you. From there walk one block in the center. The hostel is located on the first road turning left at a dead end.

Check-Out: 11.00 hs
* Half of the daily rate will be charged for late check out between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. After 2:00 PM a full daily rate will be charged. The hostel has luggage storage.

Cancellation Policy
This property has a 2 day (48hs) cancellation policy.
Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge equal to the first night of your stay.
During special periods like Carnival, New Year and holidays:
100% of the payment is required in advance
If the booking is canceled 30 days before the check-in date, 70% of the deposit value will be refund.
If the booking is canceled between 29 and 15 days before the check-in date, 50% of the deposit value will be refund.
If the booking is canceled 15 days before the check-in date, there will be no refund.
* Underage policy
Guests under 18 years old are not allowed without their parents or responsible adult and they must stay in a private room.
* Billing options
We take credit cards only for the payment of the rooms/beds, not for consumption at the bar or events. We take visa, MasterCard y American express and any debit card (we charge a 5% fee for payments made by credit cards).
* Exchange Rate
Our prices are defined in USD. The exchange rate used is not the daily one, because of the market variation. The exchange rate that we used is defined by Che Lagarto, the exchange rate shown on the website can change. Please visit our website for more information.
