The Vandrarhem Uppsala occupies a historical 19th-century building and offers affordable accommodation in the centre of Uppsala.
Vandrarhem Uppsala has different size guest rooms, as well as dormitories. Shower and toilet facilities are shared, and guests are welcome to use the kitchen to prepare meals. Bed linen and towels are available for a small charge and there is free internet in the entire building.
The hostel is 400 metres away from the Uppsala Central Station and a number of restaurants, bars and shops can be found in the vicinity
The hostel are located close to the railway/busstation in Uppsala with only a few minutes walk away.
If you walk out from the train station, you get 'Bangårdsgatan' (street that goes straight out of central station's main entrance), turn left on 'Dragarbrunns gatan'. Follow 'Dragarbrunnsgatan' for some minutes. After the house 'Stiftets hus' on the right side, turn right and you will be on the 'Kungsängstorg'. The hostel is located directly on your right hand side, nr 6. Entrance is on
the back of the house.
