We are a small shop with a very friendly and welcoming vibe. Our focus is solely on kayaking, so we put our energy in to running high quality trips. We’ve been awarded Gold Star recognition through Adventure Green Alaska for sustainable tourism. We’ve also been the #1 activity in Seward on TripAdvisor for the past 3 years . Our guides have been through the most extensive training in the area. They all hold Wilderness First Responder certifications, have great local knowledge and are well trained and practiced in kayaking skills and safety. Our guides all receive at least ACA level 2 skills assessments and ACA Day Trip Leadership & Kayak Camping assessments. We maintain a small group size to maximize safety, education and our clients experience. For every person we take kayaking, we donate $2 to Tour Green, a program helping to put wind turbines at remote Alaskan schools and to educate our Alaskan youth about sustainable energy. We believe that our business profit is secondary to: The safety and education of our clientele. The health of the wilderness environment we enjoy. The health and safety of the wildlife we visit.

For our Aialik Glacier and Wildlife Tour you'll have about 2+ hours on the boat ride out to Aialik Bay, and often we'll encounter whales, sea lions, mountain goats, sea otters, and other wildlife on the way. Better than a large tour boat ride, the water taxi we use is small and provides an intimate experience with your guide and the captain. Learn all about the area, the wildlife you see, and hear great Alaskan stories while you pass the day with people filled with local knowledge and experience.
Once in the fjords, you'll spend the day paddling to Aialik Glacier. Aialik is a very actively calving tidewater glacier, and often massive chunks of ice will plummet into the sea below. Harbor seals curiously poke their heads through the floating ice chunks to watch you paddle by, and often black bears wander the beaches and hillsides nearby. What a perfect way to experience the massive glacial ice and the soaring mountains of the fjords... from the seat of a kayak!
This trip can also be turned into an overnight or multi-day adventure - if you have the time. Once you've spent the time and money to get out to Aialik Bay, it's totally worthwhile to stay for a while and explore! The wildlife, the glaciers, the intertidal zone... are all deserving of plenty of time.
