Hi! my name is Jeff and welcome to Villa dRindu. What was once a humble family home, now stands proud a mansion, an embodiment of success of the Abdul Hamid clan (that's my grand dad). Villa dRindu started as a dream idea, we wanted a place near the city but conveniently away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Located in a secluded area not far from Historical Malacca City (10 mins), Villa dRindu promises its occupants peace and tranquility (typical village atmosphere).
Set in a small village (Malay Village), it is ideally suited to those who wish to unwind and enjoy the atmosphere of "kampong life"(we will organize for you to visit the villagers & their homes - if you are lucky, they might even invite u in for some snacks = Yippee!). Villa dRindu has a unit of twelve rooms and 3 dormitories (all our units have air condition), complete with open sided centrally located area called the courtyard (overlooking the village + BBQ Area + where Village children come to play - late afternoon), and a rooftop (3rd floor - Spectacular views of the Village + perfect place to work that tan) for guest to relax and unwind.
Occupants of Villa dRindu will enjoy a personalized approach (by jeff - that's me!), the epitome of Malay hospitality which will be consistently rated amongst the best by its guest. Indeed, one will have the sense that anything might be possible here. Attention to detail will clearly be the hallmark in this magical place (will do my best- i promise). Villa dRindu will be more than a great residence; Creating a 'home away from home' which is often more beautiful and palatial than where they are traveling from (one big happy family) will ensure many delighted occupants. :)
+++ Will take you to the night market (held almost every night somewhere around Melaka)
We are a brand new hostel therefore all our facilities are in excellent condition. Our property is also fully air conditioned for the comfort of our guest.
We will try our best to keep our property mosquito, bugs and insect free cause we know you hate them.

Whats most frustrating on arrival to a new city is not knowing which direction your hostel is. The constant hassle by transport providers (most try to rip you off) can be a nuisance. Therefore we provide free pick-up service for our guest on arrival. just calls us once you are here and we would be happy to come pick you up.
P.S. Once you have made your reservation, i will email you with my contact details. Call me once you arrive so i can pick you up. Taxi's can be a costly way to travel, i would like all my guest to have the best experience during their stay in Melaka. Call me!
We also provide shuttle service from the hostel to the city and back for the convenience of our guest during their stay.
We are located behind the 'ESSO petrol station' on Lebuh AMJ (highway towards Muar/Merlimau).
* Ask the Petrol station attendant where we are.
Our new hotel is under construction, it is the tallest building within the vicinity next to the ESSO petrol station. Villa dRindu is 10 meters from it.
