Recently voted as one of the top five bed & breakfasts in Florence, B&B La Casa dei Tintori di Massimo Ingegno is a careful restoration of a 13th Century building in the historical centre of the city.
Medieval charm is blended with modern amenities like air-conditioning, heating, ensuite with showers, TV and a free fast internet computer. Furniture and fabrics in each of the five private rooms derive their colours from the Medieval tradition of the Textile Dyers. Our triple room is features a double and a single bed as standard- but upon request can feature three single beds instead.
Breakfast is included and will be served in a traditional coffee house a few steps from the building. A voucher is given at check in for a coffee/cappuccino/tea and pastry to be spent in a coffeeshop nearby.
B&B La Casa dei Tintori di Massimo Ingegno is located in a quiet neighborhood with a variety of charming shops, good restaurants and ice cream stores that make life worth living and is only a short walk from famous landmarks such as the Uffizi Museum, the Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens.
High fashion stores and traditional leather shops are also located around the B&B.

From the central railway station Santa Maria Novella:
Bus nr. 23 stops in front of our door, at Ponte alle Grazie. It takes only 10 minutes.
If you are up for a 20 minutes walk, once out of the Station cross the Square, turn right into Via de' Cerretani and walk until you reach Piazza del Duomo. Walk along Via del Proconsolo, keep straight on until you reach Via dei Leoni; at the junction with Via de Neri turn left, and proceed over the traffic lights at the crossroads with Via de Benci, keep going straight until you finally reach Corso dei Tintori and Casa dei Tintori at nr. 33.
Alternatively you can reach us by taxi.
From Amerigo Vespucci Airport:
Either a taxi or a shuttle bus service with no intermediate stops will take you in approx. 25 mins to Santa Maria Novella Railway Station. Shuttle buses leave from the arrival terminal every 30 minutes during the day and is not available on Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Easter and May 1st.
Tickets can be bought at the terminal snack bars.
By car from the A1 motorway:
Take the exit 'Firenze sud' and follow the S.P. 127 and the signs for the Lungarni. Reach Lungarno della Zecca Vecchia and look for a payzone parking bay (blue signs); now walk alongside the National Library (Biblioteca Nazionale) and you will find Corso dei Tintori immediately after Piazza dei Cavalleggeri. We are at nr. 33.
