Experience Paragliding in New Zealand with Parapro, Christchurch's only full-time Paragliding school and South Island's only certified training facility for Paramotoring.
Dave Dennis, Parapro's owner and chief flying instructor with over 25 years of total flying experience, has been teaching paragliding and flying commercial tandems since late 1991 throughout Australasia. He was NZ's first licensed paramotor instructor and is a skilled and active speed flyer and skier.
Our training facility provides the following services:
• Tandem Flights.
• Paragliding Courses
• Paramotoring Courses.
• Speed Flying - foot launch courses
• Speed Riding - ski launch courses
• Advanced Flying Courses
• Equipment Sales
• Flying Tours
• Aerial Photography
As a full time paragliding and paramotoring training facility, our aim is to provide the highest standards in teaching students, in various forms of flying. Parapro operates 7 days a week, 363 days a year, weather permitting.

Typical Day
Our typical day starts at 9am weather permitting and we fly tthrough to 8pm
