Active Adventure
For my trail rides, I have you meet me at a local park, usually Lebanon Hills RP just north of Rosemount off of Hwy 3, and you can help groom and tack horses if you'd like. Then we get everybody mounted up and make sure everyone is comfortable and then hit the trail. The ride itself is about 1 1/2h - 2h long and we often stop for a picnic lunch along the trail. Then when we get back you can again help with the horses if you'd like and I usually tell people to plan on at least three hours for the afternoon. I can accommodate most people of average to even heavy builds. The cost is $90/person.
Typical Day
We also offer horse boarding, monthly leases, lessons and volunteer opportunities in the summer with our horses. We can cater programs for your scout group to include the horsemanship merit badge with weekend camping trips with the horses. We also offer summer horse day camp sessions.
In the winter we offer dogsled rides and educational programs locally here in the Twin Cities. No need to drive to the north shore to experience the thrill of a dog sled ride.

Individuals, families, scouting troops, special occasions, events, school groups, etc.
Sleeping and meals
Trail head has plenty of parking, picnic tables and a fire ring for roasting marshmallows.
Full day or overnight camping trips can be arranged
Restrictions
NO PETS! They will only distract our working dogs.
Liability Waiver will need to be signed by all participants.
Deposit required for reservation that will only be refunded if cancelled for weather related reasons.

Other Information
Keep us in mind for all your adventures in every season-- we have a variety of horse back riding programs and packages available starting in the spring through late fall. If you have a little girl that would rather clean a stall than her room, she would love a gift certificate for one of our day camps at Christmas or what about a dogsledding gift certificate or a fun thing to do with visiting family and friends that is uniquely Minnesotan!
