There is no shower/bath facilities available on site. However there are many cheap traditional Japanese spas in our neighborhood where can our guests go for a bath/shower.
FREE SHUTTLE
We offer free on arrival/departure shuttle from/to a train station, airport express buses and highway buses bus stops and the harbor (ferry terminal). Please contact as in advance to arrange.
TATAMI SUITE
The Tatami Suite is whole floor of a traditional Japanese house build in 1934, which is surrounded by Japanese garden. The suite has two connected bedrooms with 6 tatami mats each and a toilet. The rooms are Non-smoking and have no air conditioning.
APARTMENTS
The Apartments are situated in a small building next to the main house. Each apartment has a small kitchen and a living room/bedroom with tatami flooring and can accommodate up to 2 persons. The apartments are Non-smoking. The apartments are not serviced during your stay (they are cleaned only before your arrival and after you leave).
From Fukuoka Airport
1. Outside the international airport terminal catch the 'Toyonokuni Liner' nonstop bus to Beppu.
2. Get off the bus at Kannawa-guchi bus stop (The ride takes approximately 2 hours).
3. We are located about 250m down the hill from the bus stop.
From Oita Airport
1. Outside the airport terminal catch 'Air Liner' Airport Express Bus to Oita city
2. Get off at Beppu Kitahama Bus Stop (The ride takes approximately 35 minutes). If you are not sure, ask the bus driver he will tell you when to get off.
3. There is an underpass near by. Use it to cross the road to get to a city bus stop and catch there a bus number 10, 20, 24 or 25 ( bus stop).
By bus number 20, 24
4. Get off the bus at Kita-ju bus stop (The ride takes 21 - 28 minutes).
5. We are located just about 100m to the right from the bus stop. (You have to cross the road on the pedestrian crossing and follow the narrow street the crossing leads into)
By bus number 10, 25
4. Get off the bus at Kannawa bus stop (The ride takes 25 - 28 minutes).
5. We are located about 300m from the bus stop. You can ask in the Tourist Information Office near the bus stop for directions.
From JR Beppu Station
1. Outside the station catch a bus number 2, 5, 7, 9, 10, 20, 24 or 25. If you can't find the bus stop ask for help at the tourist information desk which is located inside the railway station. They do speak English.
By bus number 9, 20, 24
2. Get off the bus at Kita-ju bus stop. (The ride takes 17 - 28 minutes).
3. We are located just about 80m to the right from the bus stop. (You have to cross the road on the pedestrian crossing and follow the narrow street the crossing leads into)
By bus number 2, 5, 7, 10, 25
2. Get off the bus at Kannawa bus stop. (The ride takes 16 - 28 minutes).
3. We are located about 300m from the bus stop. You can ask in the Tourist Information Office near the bus stop for directions.
From Beppu Harbour
1. Outside the harbour building catch a bus number 26.
2. Get off the bus at the final bus stop - Kannawa. (The ride takes about 25 minutes).
3. We are located about 300m from the bus stop. You can ask in the Tourist Information Office near the bus stop for directions.
