Monte Amazonico Lodge is a quiet place in the Amazonian Rain Forest located in the buffer zone of the Tambopata National reserve.
We are 200 meters from the shore of the Madre de Dios River and half an hour by boat from Puerto Maldonado.
Built with materials typical of the area, Monte Amazonico Lodge has hammocks, restaurant, bar and guided tours.
It is a good place to see monkeys, alligators, snakes and learn from the Peruvian Amazonian forest.

From the bus station take a taxi to the Plaza de Armas (20 minutes). We are on 171 Avenue leon velarde, where the office is and from where you will be transported by boat to the lodge ( 1 hour and 30 minutes)
