La Ruka Hostel has two buildings surrounded by tropical jungle. The first floor building includes reception and the breakfast buffet area which is operational 5 days a week. On the upper floor of the building one is our two private rooms.
The second building consists of three separate dormitories for 6 and 8 people and a private bath. All showers have hot water. The back includes guest kitchen and dining area surrounded by the tropical jungle.
There is plenty of room for activities and if you get hungry just pick some fruit from one of our many fruit trees.

Guests only inside gates, no visitors allowed without permission from staff member. This if for security reasons.
Quiet hours 11 pm during the week and 12 am during the weekend.
We are located midway between the main beach and town center. It is about a 10 minute walk to each.
We are located a short walk from many popular bars and restaurants as well as popular beaches. Punta Uva, said to be one of the 21 hidden beaches in the world is a short bike ride down the road. Also Cahuita National Park is a short bus ride away.
La Ruka is located on the right hand side of the main road about 600 meters out of town heading towards Cocles beach.
