HOSTEL and the CITY:

Belfast's biggest, longest established hostel: no gimmicks, just straightforward, clean, safe accommodation.

Part of Hostelling International, with hostels in 90 countries, a truly global network you can trust.

We are the closest hostel to bus and train stations: just 10 minutes walk from the Europa Bus Station and 5 minutes from Botanic Rail Station.
We are open 24 hours a day 365 days a year!

The best location in town for museums, galleries, music venues, pubs and clubs.

A perfect base from which to explore the city and its history, discover its industrial and architectural heritage, and immerse yourself in its cultures and traditions.

Take a walk through the leafy university area, or along the river to the ever-changing Waterfront and Titanic Quarter: or a wander down to the shops in the city centre. Explore Belfast's Cathedrals and churches and its architecture, from Victorian and Edwardian to Art Deco and the contemporary.

Queen's University, the Botanic Gardens and the award-winning Ulster Museum are a 5 minute walk; and City Hall and the main shopping area just 15 minutes away on foot.

The hostel is 2 buildings in one. The original hostel where our standard rooms are located, and the extension where we have our en-suite rooms.

We have hostel rooms to suit all requirements and budgets - from a basic cheap dormitory bed to a double with private shower/toilet. We are not a hotel though and very much embrace the hostelling ethos - so expect to make your own bed: the TV is in the TV room: the kettle in the self-catering kitchen :o)

Our experienced and well-travelled staff welcome guests of all ages (from 2 to 92!!!) from all over the world - including families with children, school groups etc
We are open to all.

24 hour staff: no curfew - no lock out

We have a secure car park behind the hostel
