Blossoms Guest House is located in a Georgian town house, dating from 1837. Formerly a private residence, all the rooms have been modernised with en-suite shower and w/c (no bath.) Run by staff that really care, the house has a homely feel!
For those that have work to do, telephone / modem sockets are available in all rooms, (with reasonable rates,) copying and faxing are available.
Due to the layout of the building, all rooms vary in size and layout - indeed, some of our best rooms are in the 3rd floor attic!
We serve breakfast from 8am until 10am to give you the energy you need for a busy day of relaxing! We offer a lighter breakfast for £4.50 or an even more substantial cooked Full English, including freshly sourced ingredients, for £7.50.

This property has a 14 day cancellation policy. If you do not give at least 14 days notice of cancellation you will be charged for the entire stay.
Computer for guest use available until 10pm, and after this by arrangement; free wi-fi available 24/7.
This property has a two night minimum stay at weekends.
Check in 4pm. Check Out 12 noon.
All guests should present a passport, EU driving license or credit card at check-in.
By Car:
We are located on Bootham (A19), approx 0.5 miles from the city centre.
Look out for a footbridge crossing the road - we are close to this, opposite a very old school building. Our car park is at the rear of the property, and accessed from Burton Stone Lane (this road has the 'Burton Stone' pub on the corner.)
Note for people not familiar with York's roads: the city centre might look great on the map, but it contains footstreets & one-way systems. Thus, we recommend you use the Northern Ring-road (A1237) and approach along the A19 FROM THE NORTH. From this direction, we are very easy to find! Look out for a white footbridge just before the city centre - we are on the left hand side 20 yards before the footbridge.
By Train:
To walk to us from the station takes about 10-15 minutes. On exiting York Station by the main entrance (with the taxi rank,) turn left. Follow the road past the Royal York hotel, and cross straight over at the traffic lights. Go straight on, and through the gate in the bar walls (city walls.) Turn left, and cross the river. Continue straight ahead to the next set of traffic lights. Turn left and continue to the next set of traffic lights. Turn left again, into Bootham, and walk until you see a footbridge crossing the road. We are on the right hand side. Alternatively, pay about GBP 4-5 for a taxi!!
