Our Place Private Rooms is a simple and small hostel ideally situated in the old Jewish quarter in the center of Budapest, close to all major attractions (like the Baths, galleries, the Royal Palace, etc.) These are easily accessible either walking or by public transportation.
So what about the local area? Well, it is absolutely bursting with options! On your doorstep there are cafes and restaurants offering good value meals as well as lots of pubs and places for going out at night.
The rooms are ideal for couples or you can have single beds too. All we offer is clean and comfortable rooms, homely and relaxing atmosphere and service with hospitality. Our rooms can be equiped with one extra bed on request. Free wifi and cooking facilities available. We provide loundry service as well.
Please let us know your exact arrival time +/- 1hours. Late or early arrival is no problem.
Transfer is available.
If you choose to use public transport in Budapest make sure to buy and use tickets because you frequently meet controllers who will fine you severely otherwise.
From Keleti pu. (Eastern Railway Station)
10 minutes walking:
Set off in the direction of Blaha Lujza ter (square) along Rakoczi ut (street) walking on the right hand side. After going across Blaha Lujza ter (a large junction with traffic lights and tram going across it, you need to cross under the ground) you take the 3rd street to the right.
By bus:
Take either the 7,73,178,178A bus and get off at Urania. Then walk back in the direction the bus came from to the 2nd street.
From Nyugati pu. (Western Railway Station):
take the tram 4 or 6 to Blaha Lujza ter . Then walk in the direction of Astoria to the 3rd street on the right (next to Marco Polo Hostel) Nyar str 8.
From the Airport:
Terminal1:
Take the train to Nyugati Pu. (Western Train Station). Then take the tram no. 4 or 6 to Blaha Lujza ter (square). Then walk in the direction of Astoria along Rakoczi ut (street) to the 3rd street on the right (next to Marco Polo Hostel) Nyar str 8.
Terminal2:
Take the bus no. 200 to Kobanya-Kispest then take the blue (no. 3) metro line to Deak ter (square), then change from the blue line to the red (no. 2) metro line and go to Blaha Lujza ter (square). Then walk in the direction of Astoria to the 3rd street on the right (next to Marco Polo Hostel) Nyar str 8.
From Nepliget International Bus Station:
Take the blue (no. 3) metro line to Deak ter, then change from the blue line to the red (no. 2) metro line and go to Blaha Lujza ter. Then walk in the direction of Astoria to the 3rd street on the right (next to Marco Polo Hostel) Nyar str 8.
