Hotel Cortez Azuls location in Alajuela is ideal if you want to avoid the business of San Jose...
It is a clean, safe town which is only five minutes from the airport. Alajuela is very convenient for accessing all of your travel destinations.
Each room in the hotel is extremely clean, spacious, comfortable, and is decorated with unique artwork handcrafted by the owner of the hostel. The dormitory-style rooms have hardwood flooring and the others have polished tile.
There are two tranquil sitting areas on the main floor if you need to relax. There is a television, a selection of magazines, comfortable couches, and a diverse book exchange available. Like the rest of the hotel, this area is also beautifully decorated with the charismatic owner's artwork (mosaics, sculptures, paintings).
The hotel also provides its guests with access to two immaculate kitchen areas where they can store food, cook, and enjoy their meals. One is on the upper floor of the hostel where you can choose to eat at the kitchen table or out on the balcony which boasts a beautiful view of the town.
The other kitchen is located on the main floor in the back courtyard. There are various tables to eat at, which are surrounded by lush gardens, pottery, and mosaic artwork.
Services: During your stay at the hostel, the owner, Eduardo, will go out of his way to assist you with organizing whatever you wish to do. In addition to helping you with your specific travel goals, he organizes and provides full day kayak tours in the surrounding area and a full day tour to Poas Volcano, the coffee plantations, and Waterfall Garden La Paz. If you have specific destinations in mind within Costa Rica, Eduardo will gladly arrange transportation for you.
