The villa was built in 1904 on the instructions of a wealthy German merchant Hermann Ammende for his daughter?s wedding reception . The architectural features are stunning with striking wooden staircases, hand-painted ceilings and walls, majestic chandeliers, hunting trophies and noble stoves decorated with glazed tiles made in the Bohm factory in Riga . The hotel has three superb sitting rooms for enjoying a cup of Brazilian coffee or for just relaxing . There is a Red Salon with wooden parquet floors, red walls with mille-fleurs paintings and antique furnishings . The Green Salon has magnificent ceiling paintings and unique wooden antique furniture . In the Billiard Salon there is also a pool table and a small bar area .
