The Crested Butte International Lodge and Hostel offers simple and affordable lodging in Crested Butte . Built in 1997, the Lodge is a beautiful, modern facility that is that is as clean as it it comfortable . Ideal for friends, families, groups, and individuals, our friendly staff is available to help you with your travel plans, including where to eat -if you're not cooking in, what ski runs to take, and in the Summer, what mountain bike trails to tear down . We are located in Historic Downtown Crested Butte . A free shuttle stops by every 15-20 minutes that goes to the mountain then back down to town . In downtown Crested Butte you will find wonderful shops, beautiful architecture, amazing views and great people . After enjoying a fun filled day in the Rockies, socialize with your fellow hostellers in front of the gas fireplace in our great room or hit up the town in the evening with new friends . If you are exhausted from a day of extreme skiing or biking, grab a book from the library or pop a movie into the DVD player . The kitchen facilities are modern and completely stocked with all the amenities needed to make your own meals . Stroll on over to Clarks Market, located 5 blocks south, pick up some groceries, and save some cash if you are a budget conscious traveler . Ski and bike storage is available on premise, as well as laundry facilities, public showers and complimentary WiFi . At the Crested Butte Lodge and Hostel, guest safety and security are always a priority with us . This is why all of our rooms and guest bathrooms are locked by a programmable key card system, similar to what you see in major hotels . Each person has an individual locking storage drawer under the bunk . You can bring your own lock or we can provide you with one . The front doors are locked each evening allowing only registered guests entry into the building after the front desk is closed . Guest parking is provided free on site . There is departure cleaning only . Check-in is at 4pm and check-out is at 10am .
