Hostel La Posada La Casa de la Luna is located in the heart of the scenic route number 10, which connects the towns of La Paloma, La Pedrera, Cabo Polonio, La Barra de Valizas and Freshwater, joining the tour of Laguna Rocha and the Laguna de Castillos. Its location near the sea, the lagoon and Laguna de Castillos Rocha and Pedrera center allows you to enjoy this wonderful natural environment. The Hostel is Surrounded by Ancient gully at the edge of the dunes of the wild beaches of Desplayado of La Pedrera, where you have a good view of the horizon over the sea. We recommend the outputs of the full moon over the sea from the rooms.

Importantly, Hostel La Posada La Casa de la Luna, is home to the interpretive center of Punta Rubia de la Pedrera, a project born of the enterprise of local people in order to preserve its diverse natural heritage.
This initiative aims to provide professional information for visitors to enjoy and learn about the diverse wildlife of the area, in a pleasant and fun, offering guided tour makes a good enhancement of the natural resource areas near the Pedrera and hostel facilities.
Achieving that the housing can be enjoyed in harmony with their natural environment, where I left as the only brand in the natural landscape footprint.

We were selected by our product gully Ancient Path by Rocha Tourism Cluster as a product of interest department of Rocha, for their development, with the support of the Municipality of Rocha, Uruguay Ministry of Tourism.
We offer excellent surfing beaches, bars ... and a proposal for trails, ponds, horseback riding .. very valuable, with the necessary facilities so you can have fun sharing your adventure with the world\'s travelers in line with our house
We are located at the km 230 in Punta Rubia La Pedrera. Local buses get in to La Pedrera from everywhere (MOntevideo,Rocha, Punta del Este, Valizas, Punta del Diablo, Chuy, etc) and from la Pedrera to our hostel we offer you free pick up through out the day, to make your arrival easier and more comfortable. Give us a call upon arrival.
