The building dates from 1823, and was previously the home of the Royal Scottish Automobile Club . We have lovingly transformed this historic building into a luxury five star hotel and spa, retaining some original architectural features, such as marble fireplaces, wood paneling and lofty, ornate ceilings, and against this aristocratic backdrop have applied sympathetic, rich, textural design . Blythswood Square, a 5 star hotel in Glasgow, houses 100 guest rooms including a penthouse, perfect for a special occasion, complete with its own private lift and terrace area .
