Genting Grand (formerly known as Maxims Genting) is the destination for those who aim for satisfaction, style and exclusivity . Coupled with the assurance that the comfort of home is never far away with the impeccable service and deluxe amenities extended . Hotel policy is guest must be at least 18 years of age to check-in . A refundable security deposit of RM500 (five hundred ringgit) is required upon check-in . Please be informed that the Genting Outdoor Theme Park will be closed beginning 1st September 2013 to facilitate the construction of the Twentieth Century Fox theme park . The projected soft opening is scheduled to take place in 2016 . Notice: In line with Genting Integrated Tourism Plan, some of the rides located in First World Indoor Theme Park will be closed down 2nd May 2014 onward to make way for development works . Affected rides are Sky Venture, 4D Motion Master, Bumper Car Ride, Ride de Paris, Carousel & Euro Express on subsequent dates while other remain operating as usual .
