Horizon South, a large resort located across the street from the beach, is centrally located in the heart of Panama City Beach less than a mile from Pier Park and Frank Brown Park Sports Complex . The resort features plenty of family activities on site with four pools, hot tub, kiddie pool, 18-hole mini golf, playground, tennis courts and shuffleboard . Guests also receive a free amenities package on all paid nights . Minimum age required at check-in is 25 . Our beaches have NOT been impacted by the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, and our beaches are as beautiful as ever . Do not change your vacation plans when you are fully protected . Counts Oakes Resort Properties is pleased to offer a -Clean Beach Guarantee Program . - No Cancellation Fee- If our beaches are impacted in any way due to the oil spill you can cancel your reservation without any penalty or cancellation fee . Full Refund- If during your stay our area is impacted in any way by the oil spill in the Gulf we will issue you a full refund for the remaining balance of your stay . USD 200 Credit for a Future Stay- In addition to offering a full refund for the remaining balance of your stay we will issue you a USD 200 credit that can be applied towards a future stay . Please note that a USD 70 . 00- USD 110 . 00 housekeeping fee will be collected at check-in . Reservation fee- 10 percent . Guests under 25 require a Refundable Security Deposit at check-in during the following dates . Spring Break- USD 500 . Fall Break- USD 250 . There is a HOA fee of up to USD 40 . 00 collected at check-in March 1st to October 1st to cover amenities .
