Casa Paseo Atkinson (Paseo Atkinson House) is located, as its name suggests, in Paseo Atkinson, on Cerro Concepción (Concepción Hill). This hill was occupied mainly by British and German families in the nineteenth century, who built large houses and places to enjoy the sea views and tranquility that this hill offers. Currently, it is known for its beautiful and colorful Victorian houses, its numerous artistic and cultural expressions and its many tourist attractions.
One of these newly listed Victorian houses became the current Casa Paseo Atkinson, being remodeled by its owner, the renowned architect Raul Hayvar Sepulveda, who also built and renovated the most important houses and hotels in the city.

Leaving the bus terminal in Valparaiso, you can choose one of the following options:
1) Take a 'colectivo' in Pedro Montt street, where you should be. Ask the driver to warn you to get to the Plaza Anibal Pinto (Anibal Pinto Square).
Once there, you will see two streets to climb the hill, you go up the street Almirante Montt (the right one). You can go walking or taking a taxi.
Climbing up, you turn at the first street on the right, called Beethoven, at the end of which you will find the Paseo Atkinson. Going by taxi, the driver will also leave you in the Paseo Atkinson. (Less than 3 dollars if you take taxi, less than 1 dollar if you don't).
2) Take a bus in Pedro Montt street, where you should be. The bus must say 'Aduana' on the front. Ask the driver to warn you when you get to 'Ascensor Concepción" (Concepción Elevator). When you get off the bus, cross the street to the left of the direction of the bus. Cross two little streets and you will be on the elevator. Get on the elevator and you will be at Paseo Gervasoni. Walk up the hill one block to papudo street and then to your left for one block and you will reach the Paseo Atkinson. (Less than 1
dollar)
3) Take a taxi in the street Pedro Montt, where you should be. Ask the driver to take you to the Paseo Atkinson. (Less than 8 dollars)
