From the airport or bus terminal you can take a taxi, as this service is very cheap in the city. The taxi fare from the airport is approximately COL $7000 (US. $ 3.5) and from the bus terminal COL $6000 (US. $ 3), simply tell the driver the address and indicate that you are going to Alto Palermo neighborhood, near the to Vizcaya.
If you want, you can also use the public transport system from the bus terminal, so you can have a first panoramic view of the city, as the first section is a cable railway. You can take the cable railway "Cable Vía" at the bus terminal, one way fare is COL $1400 (US. $ 0.7). Then you descend from Cable Vía at Downtown station, and walk 2 blocks to bus station "Parque Caldas", (you can ask anyone about this bus stop). Once in the bus station, take a public bus with a sign saying "Enea, Sultana, Minitas", one way fare is also is COL $1400 (US. $ 0.7). You can ask the driver to stop by the "Cable- Universidad Nacional" bus stop. Once there you take a right on the next street, which is the 65th B St, then a left on Carrera 23A, then take a right for half block and you are in the hostal.
