Our Hostel name is Mintzi, because We are your house in the heart of Morelia
We are in the Morelia's downtown; beautiful city considerate by UNESCO a World Cultural Heritage Site. With a historic center and attractive colonial buildings such as the Acueducto of 253 arcs constructed in the XVIII century, and beautiful gardens designed under French influence.
The Michoacan Cathedral is a symbol of the period of Mexico and has a Doric style in its interior.
Do not forget to visit the fountain of Tarascas, icon of Morelia that represents three indigenous women holding fruit baskets in the air.
You can walk around the streets and will find many places close to eat, to drink and enjoy all the time.
HOSTAL Mintzi is located two blocks away from the Principal Avenue, Mercado de dulces(candy market) where you will find great variety of regional candies, hand crafts and more.

Is better if you take a taxi inside these places.
If you want to take collective transportation you can do that, only at the bus station; outside the place you will find a 'collective transport red' (combi) take one, your time of route to downtown is 1 hour approximately, you must to leave the combi at Allende street, back to the Cathedral church and walk 3 blocks to the Hostal Mintzi.
