Villa Babylon Calahonda offers Bed and Breakfast accommodation in a large Spanish style townhouse located second line from the beach in the award winning area of Sitio de Calahonda.
With easy road access, public transport and parking on the doorstep, this quality accommodation is ideally suited to all types of guests and requirements with shops bars, restaurants and the beach only a 3 minute walk away.
Your hosts pride themselves on offering an informal, personalized service to all guests to ensure everyone has an enjoyable and memorable stay. Rooms are serviced every other day (Towels provided). Bed linen is changed on a weekly basis.
Optional breakfast is provided every morning and even delivered to your room if you desire!. Breakfast is charged at an additional 10€ per room per day if required. All guests have free access to a large swimming pool (with separate children pool) and terrace with sun loungers in the complex next door.
The tennis courts are also available for your free use. Facilities include free WI-FI, SKY TV, Hairdryer, complementary tea/coffee, laundry service and much more!
The property is situated in the area of Calahonda, between Fuengirola and Marbella and is a 25 minute drive from Malaga Airport.
Without a car
At arrivals, you will find queue of taxis and ask to go to Calahonda Beach, Sitio de Caladonda (opposite side of the road to El Zoco Commercial Centre) It is advisable to agree on the price (approx 65 Euros). Alternatively, you can take the Express Bus to Marbella bus station from the Airport (no stops) and costs less than 5 each. The owner can collect you from there (only 15 mins away) for a cost of 20 or you can catch the local stopping bus back from Marbella bus station to El Zoco (Calahonda).
The most direct or cost effective way would be to catch the local Renfe train service direct from Malaga Airport to Fuengirola and then cross the road to Fuengirola Bus station. From here you can catch the local stopping bus to Marbella and ask the driver to indicate the Calahonda El Zoco bus stop. We are situated literally across the road. Call us when you get there.
By Car
Drive out of the Airport Terminal and follow sign to Cadiz, N340-E15. BP garage will be on your left. After 50 metres come to roundabout with San Miguel Brewery, Go straight Over. 2nd Exit Get into right hand lane ready to take the Slip Road in 100m, Direction Torremolinos & Cadiz, N340. Join the main N340, Stay on this road for 3km when you will see a sign Benalmadena & Algercieras 500m. Get into Right Lane and join the slip road as you go past the BMW garage. Sign Benalmadena N340-A7-E15 LANDMARK: After approx 7 Kms on the motorway you will see signs for Benalmadena and a Cable Car going over the motorway. After another 14kms you start to descend a long hill, at the bottom of the hill you should take the right hand inside lane signposted Fuengirola A7-E15. (Do NOT take the left hand lane indicating AP7-E15 Paeje as this is the toll motorway). After passing through Fuengirola, continue along the coast passing El Faro, La Cala de Mijas, Miraflores and then Riviera. Once you pass the Riviera turning on your right you will see a Cepsa Petrol Station. Continue passed it until you see the next turning (approx. 50 metres). At this turning slow down and take the next turning directly after this one (signposted Calahonda). You are now at El Zoco Commercial Centre. Take the immediate left turning at the fork and continue through the parking area and follow it up to the roundabout. At the roundabout take the forth turning signposted Fuengirola and drive under the road bridge (as if you were turning back on the main road in the other direction). After the bridge the road will bend to the right (only a few metres) and you will see a small café called La Terraza on your left hand side. Take the steep drive at the right side of the cofee and you have arrived!. The property is the white townhouse (number 3). Free parking is available here or in the car park in front of the property
