We wanted to be able to welcome those travelling on a low budget an affordable room on the beach, which up until now, simply wasn\'t available in this area. We really are the first.
Our hostel is the only one offering affordable accommodation for backpackers. Our hostel in Cabarete offers nine rooms, six of which have an incredible ocean view. The rooms and dormitories have comfortable beds and the bathrooms and washrooms are kept spotlessly clean. Clean towels and linen are provided for every guest.
Other beach hostel facilities: a small swimming pool, garden patio and BBQ, fully equipped, communal kitchen for use by guests 24/7, beach bar to hang out with fellow travelers, down a few drinks and listen to the music, common kitchen.

The closest airport is in Puerto Plate, which is a 30 minute drive away. There are no public buses running from the airport, but we offer a pick up and drop off service for $35 US per person (one way). Or you can take a long walk to the main street and get a public bus to Cabarete
If you are flying in to Santiago or Santo Domingo you can come to Cabarete by bus or arrange the taxi with us.
There are two bus companies – METRO & CARIBE TOUR - that go from Santiago/ Santo Domingo to Sosua (with some stops in-between). Sosua is a small town located about 15 minutes drive from Cabarete. Once you arrive in Sosua, you can take a taxi to Cabarete for US $15.
CARIBE TOUR buses depart almost every hour starting , each day. It takes approximately 5 hours and the cost is US $10 per person (one way).
In Cabarete we are located in the main street from Sosua - Cabarete, on the google map street nr 5, we are right on the beach, in front of the police station of Cabarete. Every driver know where it is.
