El Hotelito Perdido is a small jungle ecological hideaway situated in the heart of the Rio Dulce National Park. We are across the river from the mineral thermal springs and the kayaking distance from Rio Dulce Canyon, Manatee Reserve and some beautiful waterfalls. Although it feels like a million miles from anywhere, being just off the popular tourist route between Livingston and the town of Rio Dulce means that the hotel is easily accessible by boat.
Our lodge is built in the typical jungle style. The accommodation we provide ranges from a small two-bed 'dormitory' to cozy split-level bungalows equipped with a toilet and shower. You can choose according to your taste and budget.

We rent kayaks and wooden cayucos, there is dock to swim from, beautiful tropical gardens with fruit trees, plenty of hammocks to relax in, games to play and good books to read. There is communal house with bar, lounge, restaurant area and kitchen. Near the communal house is a b-b-q area and there is a hammock house by the dock. All of the electricity used by the hotel comes from solar power.

We offer drinks, homemade food, we make our own bread and we eat our evening meal together, family style. We organise guided tours to Tiger Cave, Maya Qi eqchi Village, Livingston and Manatee Reserve.

The hotel can currently accommodate 15 guests and we offer:
i Two two-storey wooden bungalows, both have a porch, lounge and private bathroom/shower on the ground floor and bedroom on the first floor.
i One large double height wooden bungalow containing two guest rooms called Nance and Guanaba. Both rooms have a lounge downstairs and sleeping area on the mezzanine floor. A shared bathroom is located in a separate building nearby.
i Cozy two-bed dormitory equipped with 2 single beds (max. 2 person capacity). Located above the lounge area of the communal house enjoys commanding views over the forest canopy.
